I am grateful that I get to experience the best of both worlds. I grew up in the Bahariya Oasis and come from a family of Bedouins. I am deeply rooted in the simple life of the desert. Over the years, I have gained the necessary experience in tourism as a guide and manager. I obtained my diploma as a social worker in Cairo and now work as a residential counselor at the CAW in Belgium. I have been living in Belgium for 12 years with my wife and our two children and speak good English, Dutch, and of course Arabic. I am proud of my country and culture and like to share this with people. I enjoy seeing how people relax and enjoy the beauty and simplicity of the desert.

I feel intensely happy in the fields of the Bahariya Oasis or on a beautiful rock full of crystals in the silence of the desert. I like to take on challenges, have a creative outlook on life, and want to enjoy the beauty of nature together with others. Years ago, I fell in love with the desert and with my husband Ahmed, and we lived together with our family in Egypt for a few years. Meanwhile, we live in Belgium and travel to our second home country a few times a year. I am trained as a naturopathic therapist and nature coach and enjoy guiding people in a “down to earth” way to become more empowered and more conscious in life. Besides being a tour guide, I am a coach and often the first point of contact for Inside Nature Adventure.

I grew up in the Bahariya Oasis together with Ahmad and Walied and have been working with the tourist police for years. I live with my family in the oasis and go to the beautiful desert as often as I can. I have years of experience as a guide and speak reasonable English.
I enjoy sitting together by the fire under the starry sky. My friends describe me as a calm and modest person who, when you get to know him better, has a great sense of humor. I am also said to be musical and caring, and to thoroughly enjoy life.

As a childhood friend of Ahmed, we have experienced many adventures together and work extremely well as a team. As a young boy, I developed my love for the desert and started working as a desert guide at an early age. I can be found there about 360 days a year. I know the desert like the back of my hand and have extensive experience as a guide and driver. I enjoy taking our guests to its beautiful vast landscapes and introducing them to the pure desert life. I am a proud father of 5 children and have been working with the tourist police for years. I speak good English and by now I also know quite a few Dutch words.
I love to spoil our guests with delicious freshly made traditional meals and am often called the ‘chef of the desert’ by my friends.

I grew up in the desert village of Al Hays in a family of farmers.
I take care of our herd of camels daily. Because of this, I know all their names and their characters very well. I like to take part of my herd on trips through the desert. I specialize in long hiking trips and know the desert like the palm of my hand.
I enjoy nights under the starry sky and drinking endless cups of Arabic tea that we prepare on the campfire. My friends describe me as funny and modest. I enjoy meeting people from other countries and cultures and introducing them to the real traditional desert life.
